The Arizona Cardinals made a flurry of roster moves Tuesday, including tinkering with their practice squad. They cut ties with one former Kansas City Chief and added another.

Parting ways with the Cardinals is wide receiver Devon Wylie. He was a fourth-round pick of Scott Pioli in 2012 out of Fresno State, but could never catch on even as the Chiefs searched for help on special teams and offense.

Wylie initially showed new head coach Andy Reid enough to stay in Kansas City in the preseason by catching five passes for 52 yards. He made the first 53-man roster, but was cut a day later when the Chiefs made an NFL-high seven waiver claims. He was signed by the Cardinals two weeks ago.

Lemon was signed by Reid and Chiefs GM John Dorsey in April following a minicamp tryout. He made it all the way to final cuts, but couldn’t stand out in a crowded field of linebackers.

The Cardinals are getting a linebacker that first entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent of the Dallas Cowboys in 2011 and appeared in five games in 2012.
